Methods of using wordpress

Is there anything that wordpress cannot do?

Since the software is based on PHP and MySQL, there are multiple methods of using wordpress to generate and create both unique products and unique content.

Most wordpress users do not take full advantage of the entire array of features that wordpress has for its users.

Methods you can use to develop strong wordpress websites.

There are many different ways to use wordpress, one of the best things that you can do is to take full advantage of setting up all the possibilities.

  1. Categories.

  2. Tags.

  3. Posts.

  4. Pages.

Often a wordpress user will forget to setup all these very important things when they are first developing a website they concentrate and focus on a theme when really they should be developing tags and content.

Research is one of the most important things you can do for your wordpress website, however many people just do not understand how to find the best keywords and even how to tell the difference between good keywords and the ones that are not as good.

When you are looking at updating your website consider doing some keyword research too that really goes a long way to developing better website SEO structure.

Studio press

Creating a website using a theme can be a little deceptive, you might be tempted to think that a theme is easy to create produce and implement…

The truth may be far more interesting.

If you are considering a Premium version of a WordPress theme, then you know how confusing it can be to decide which option is the right one for you.

With so many choices out there how do you know which one will fit in best with your business model?

There are literally thousands and thousands of premium themes out there all claiming to be the best of the best of the rest. The thing is how do you know what is really the best and what is just average pretending to be the best.

Studio press works on the parent, child theme scenario, which is on the complex side, but as far as what you can do with it, you might be surprised if your into development that is.

The value related to this theme and programming setup are that you could literally customize just about anything you want the down side is that the documentation is not as clear as you might prefer.

So lets have a quick look at the basics of Studio press at its lowest level which is sort of the beginning of the process, it is a minimalist point of view, which clearly is something that the Search Engines are definitely into right now. With the changes over the last few weeks going on at Google and in fact the lowered stock prices you might have to wonder if this was the best move for Google, only time will tell for sure.

We began scaling back our operations into the graphically intense world of eye candy some time ago, instead opting for a stark contrast and the liberal use of common language over more perfectionist English that some seem to think will buy them some page rank.

There appear to be some SEO benefits which we will explore in more detail along with screen shots of an actual installation and hard data to back up this case study.

better wordpress themes

How can you tell what the Search engines like about your website while still maintaining the autonomous nature of your website and keeping those things that you do that produce better results private.

One of the things that many wordpress users want to know is what really makes a theme a great theme, is it SEO, is it user friendliness, or perhaps it is something that allows you to generate the best website possible in the least amount of time.

Depending on your needs a theme can make or break your efforts at developing a great website.

Being creative is all about what you can deliver to your website visitor and that more and more is something that many visitors are demanding regardless of what google thinks the consumer wants.

creating a very cool theme demands a lot of attention to the details of how wordpress and PHP work, together, however there are also increasingly a lot of AJAX and javascript that must be developed if you plan on generating a really great theme.

One of the most interesting things about this subject is that some themes are
becoming dynamic.

Premium themes have many different options, however that only produces a certain amount of flexibility.

You can design options into a theme but you can only allow for certain things.

Premium wordpress themes

What would happen if WordPress decided to start charging for access.

What if WordPress.org, decided to start charging a monthly fee to be able to use wordpress?

What if everything that was free started costing a fee…

Most of us would have no choice but to either pay the fee, or move to another platform.

But what if they decided to charge say a yearly access fee, that might be doable, after a lot of people
make a living using wordpress.

Developing wordpress websites for clients is one of the fastest

growing revenue opportunities today.

When your looking at creating a website, using wordpress one of the first things most people think about is the theme, however in reality that may not be the most important thing at all, read on for some additional information about setting up wordpress.org websites.

The right tool for the right job, not only a good saying to one to live by, if your interested in developing a good website you need the right tools to
keep your website up to date and simply the best that your website can be.

Finding the right choice to help your website become more popular.

Getting the most out of your time and efforts often requires a will to develop unique and original content.

There are just so many themes, to choose from how do you know which ones are the best for your individual needs?

What is in a premium theme that makes it worth paying for?

Productive Premium Themes

These days you need more than just the average website if you want to get real visitors to your website.  You need innovative techniques, programming, Ecommerce and more they are more than just pretty skins and unlike the themes of the past they are multiple format ready, from video to audio and beyond, these themes are really more than what the name implies.

Under the hood.

While it may be a mystery to many users just how technical a theme can be it is really not a requirement to even know how to look under the hood, however, no theme is perfect right out of the box, with that in mind it is interesting to evaluate what you have in your theme structure.

If we were talking about cars here there would be a section for an economical 4 cylinder, a more sporty section for a Peppy V Six engine and a section reserved for V8 Performance, beyond that you may have to get a license to operate outside the posted speed limit.

Tools that save you time and effort.

One of the most difficult things to do in blogging and operating a website is how to get as much done as you can in the time you have, with the volume model being the key to production, your time becomes more and more important, else why would you bother if you end up making 3 bucks per hour because your having to put in 70 hours a week trying to make a living online, might as well take a job and at least you get a day off every once in a while, or you could be a part time blogger with no problem at all.

The thing is that your time is valuable, that is the most over looked aspect of working online, people tend to discount the value of their time and how much of it they are using up on a daily basis.

Automation and the blogging world.

It may sometimes seem that if you take advantage of all the automation tools out there you could do nothing and still make money this is not really true, all the large search engines these days have methods of figuring out if the lights are on but no one is home.

Everything leaves a footprint, even automation, you can use it, however in this situation less is more, simply because the more you use automation the easier it is to detect and detection in this case means that your blog or website will suffer.

Build your website on a firm foundation…

WordPress themes are becoming a framework to build your website upon it is usually written in PHP and sometimes can contain javascript, Ajax, and Jquery to name a few of the things that these premium themes can do.

Themes are quickly becoming a separate framework that supports multiple functions, from video to audio and even membership websites and Ecommerce websites.

Starting a new website with the goal of achieving targeted organic visitors,
is not an easy task.

Building SEO backlinks which will ultimately result in better search engine rankings,
and finally more targeted traffic.

SEO Value and the developing wordpress theme market.

SEO is one of the most important aspects of building your wordpress website,
however it is not the most important.

Just like building a home you must have a good foundation to build your website on.

WordPress themes are now beginning to play, the most important part of building and developing an SEO and Advertising platform website.

There are also other factors, which include relevant page content, correct optimization of your meta tags, linking with other websites in the same niche and most importantly, your keywords used.

Building your website from the ground up.

There is a process involved in developing a website and it is not always easy to learn it.

When you use a premium theme framework you can reduce the amount of time it takes to create a great wordpress based website.

What you don’t know can hurt your website.

Unfortunately many users remain unaware of the value of using premium wordpress themes.

It is important simply because building a website from the ground up takes a lot of effort and using a platform or theme can help save you time and money.

When I started my first commercial based website, I was not aware of just how important Search Engine Optimization techniques were and are, and as a result my websites just sat there and nothing happened, we build it but no one came, it was like the website was just invisible.

It can be difficult to spend so much time and effort building a website and then you find that you just cannot get any decent amount of traffic.

In many ways it is not fair at all when you see other websites that seem to be so popular, however there is usually a reason for this popularity, for one thing they usually spend money to get traffic, they advertise they build backlinks they spend money to get all these things done.

As a user, you have to do all these things for your self and often it takes so much time to learn the ropes that you end up with little to show for all the hours of work you put into your website.

With wordpress all that has changed, it still takes work to get the job done but if you develop good content and you use a premium wordpress theme you can get more traffic with less effort.

Google Drops the hammer?

You might be wondering if the recent moves made by google are humane or even responsible, the fact is they may be making a vital mistake…

The main issue here is this, what does the consumer want?

Strict search criteria, will it work out for google or will it back fire?

since the update we have noticed that much of the search results are very strict, like too strict.

I wanted to look up a product that I knew about but just could not remember the entire name of the product, so I tried to search google for what I could remember, which was a set of three letter words, and the name of the CEO, (funny how you can remember certain things) anyway, the google results was not helpful at all.

It left me feeling frustrated.

Update…

For the honest and those web site owners that do not mind actually working to get traffic, this is good news.

For those that have been taking short cuts and taking advantage of SEO services, you may find that your traffic will decrease over time.

Google has changed the rules, again, will it help or hurt your business?

What you should know and how you should change your methods of working online.

Well unless you have not been paying attention there is a new sheriff in town and apparently this guy is not playing around, in a move announced earlier this week Google changed the way it is displaying search results which caused a fervor of  reaction from many bloggers who have been getting what many call a free ride using various methods to get additional organic traffic, some called them “special methods” they sold them to other unsuspecting bloggers, who then used them on many of their websites, sadly the demise of these websites, was something that was inevitable.

There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth as many blogs became de-indexed,(
(a special kind of google hell)

For the most part, many of these questionable techniques were sort of like cheating, grey hat stuff, however, there may have been some white hat causalities as well, this leaves many people asking just what can the little website owner, you know the analogy of the little fish in the giant ocean, do to actually get website hits.

It may not be easy and it may not be popular but you might actually have to do some work, I know, I know, that may have in the past been a dirty word however, it is what most of the rest of the professional blogging world have been doing for some time now.

When you think about it, doing some work is really not as bad as it might sound.

Yes, you will have to look at keywords, and yes you will have to write some original content, and yes you will have to actually manually log into a wordpress website and post, as well as update that content on a regular basis.

However, the alternative, to not doing the above referenced things, not too good, refer to the previous issue of wailing and gnashing of teeth.

If you observe a few simple rules, for developing original content, you can really do well with google not to mention thousands of other search engines as well.

In some ways this could back fire on google, however, it may not be something that is written in stone, the main issue with google is that google does not communicate with its suppliers, except for some half baked documentation, you are on your own with regard to how to play the google game or how to dance the google dance.

over hyped reviews

If you believe everything you read online, you may think that every wordpress theme is the best, but is that really true at all?

Have you ever noticed in advertising that very often commercials claim a lot of different things, and often those claims may be a little over stated.

What really works best when it comes to a wordpress theme?

This is a question that would cause a flame war, in many forums all over the internet.

The truth is that everyone likely has a favorite, just as many people have different tastes and needs in life, a theme is only as good as the latest version of wordpress.

Consider carefully any review that you see online because it might not be accurate.

Everything that glitters is not gold…

Every time someone tell you that their product is the best in the world, the truth may not be what they are telling you it is.

Consider the recent news where several websites have been shut down using a complex array of bewildering legal channels, many website owners are considering the possibility that they may be promoting or helping promote activities that may be in a grey area.

Is it real or is it Memorex?

While traversing the internet, I began to take an interest in product reviews, how that 99 times out of 100 the “so called” review usually ends up being a somewhat less than clever method of promotion instead of a real review.

One of the most difficult things to find online are accurate reviews, for example, I just did a google search for a popular wordpress premium theme, as an actual user I found the review to be “deceptive” I can understand why someone would want to encourage or Hype up a review more so when you see an affiliate link in the review somewhere.

This is one thing that I believe should be avoided.

Affiliate links in reviews are not really a good way to gain a users trust, simply put the best method of doing that is to give a good honest review.

For example, in this so called review, (where an affiliate like was also prominently displayed)

They say how perfect this theme is, how easy it is to use, but is that accurate?

As a user of this same theme, I found it to be confusing, I found that there were so many options, that it was just difficult if not impossible to figure out and yes, I am not trying to sell this to you, so I think my review is better than the other biased review.

A second point, was that they claimed both on this themes website that they had the greatest support in the world, well as an actual user, I posted 17 questions to the “private” support forum, and 2 of the 17 were answered, the others were not answered, greatest support in the world?  I think not.

Last but not least, was a guarantee that was provided at the website, was honored, I also provided feedback on why I was asking for a refund and that the forum was not updated regularly, with posts from one year in the past, unanswered, I really do not believe that this premium themes so called support is all that great, obviously the person who provided the glowing review, was not being honest about the product, which is deceptive and sad when you think about it.

One of the things about what we want to do is to provide good reviews not reviews about things that people want to hear, if someone is telling you want they “think” you want to hear in order to get you to buy something then chances are you will not be happy with that purchase.

It is one of the reasons that reviewing a product and at the same time promotion of that product should be avoided.

developing content

When you consider how to create content what do you do first?

Write a new article, but what should that article be about…

One of the most important things about developing content that draws visitors to your website is.

Research, without research how do you know what will attract more visitors to your website in the first place?

Keywords and how then can help you to develop better content for your website.

One of the most challenging aspects of building and creating a website is to consistently produce content and not just any content but content that is of value to the reader.

Quality content that your website visitor wants to read is the key to successful commercial blogging.

Unique content is al about providing two things, one quality and two value.

Creating content is becoming more important to the marketer and developer alike.

With the recent changes brought about by competition with Bing.com Google has changed the way that search results are displayed, this creates the potential for some website owners to develop better content and so be rewarded with traffic in the search engines.

How can that help you?

Why developing content and using themes may be two of the most important things you can do for your website.

Creating content is as important as the theme you choose to power up your website, it is something that can make or break your website, yet few webmasters are truly “aware” of how important this process is to developing websites.

When you creating content you should focus on both the keywords and the consumer of that content, when you make mistakes in regard to how you develop that content you could be letting your website suffer the consequences for your lazy behavior.

What your not lazy, ok, sure but what if you are lazy, some people are and they make plenty of money online.

So perhaps it is not about being lazy, it may be more about working smart over working harder.

You could learn a lot about advertising and developing good content by just watching old commercials.

Now this is going to blow your mind, but think about it for a moment, when you look at a commercial, how can it help you develop better content.

Have a look at this commercial to better understand how advertising and how developing content can change the way you look at vintage advertising.
